Kohima: Nagaland Governor Nand Kishore Yadav chaired a review meeting of the Investment and Development Authority of Nagaland (IDAN) at Raj Bhavan in Kohima on Tuesday to assess the authority’s progress in promoting investment, entrepreneurship and economic development in the state.
During the meeting, IDAN officials presented an overview of the authority’s activities across key sectors, including Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), investment promotion, the Nagaland Skill & Entrepreneurship Development Mission (NSEDM), Swavalamban Connect Kendra (SCK), the Intellectual Property Facilitation Centre (IPFC), policy research and human resource development.
The presentation highlighted the authority’s recent achievements, ongoing programmes, key challenges and its roadmap for strengthening investment facilitation and driving economic growth in Nagaland.
Reviewing the progress made under various initiatives, the Governor appreciated IDAN’s efforts to promote investment, entrepreneurship, skill development and innovation in the state.
He stressed the importance of improving the ease of doing business, generating sustainable employment opportunities and strengthening coordination among stakeholders to accelerate Nagaland’s socio-economic development.

Yadav also called for the effective implementation of government programmes, greater outreach to entrepreneurs and youth, and sustained efforts to attract investments while ensuring inclusive and sustainable growth across the state.
The meeting concluded with discussions on addressing existing challenges and strengthening IDAN’s role in advancing Nagaland’s investment and development agenda.
