Orangkong Baptist Attoi observed its 75th Platinum Jubilee from December 26 to 28, 2025, at the Jubilee Convention Hall, organised under the theme “Jesus Christ, the Lord of History”.
The programme featured addresses by N Tialemba Phom, Executive Secretary of the Phom Baptist Churches Association (PBCA), Rev Dr Mar Pongener, General Secretary of the Nagaland Baptist Church Council (NBCC), and Rev Dr L Anjo Keikung, former General Secretary of the NBCC.
The jubilee events commenced with a flag-hoisting ceremony conducted by Rev Dr Mar Pongener. A jubilee monolith was later unveiled with prayers led by N Tialemba Phom. The Jubilee Convention Hall was formally dedicated and opened by N Tialemba Phom, Rev Dr Mar Pongener and Rev Dr L Anjo Keikung.

H Leisha Phom, convener of the Jubilee Planning and Organising Team, delivered the welcome address and acknowledged the participation of representatives from 55 Phom community churches and attendees at the event.
Bukchem Phom, former minister and former Chief Information Commissioner of Nagaland, delivered a talk on “Conflict and Peace in Orangkong Before and After 1950,” in which he spoke about social changes among the Naga and Orangkong communities. Rongsenmeren, pastor of Changtongnya Baptist Arogo, extended greetings and spoke about the missionary work of Imnatsudong Ao, the first pastor of Orangkong Baptist Church.
Special musical performances were presented by the guest choir from Changtongnya Baptist Arogo and Longleng Town Baptist Church during two separate programmes.

The celebrations were attended by elected representatives and officials, including A Pongshi Phom, MLA of 50 AC, Bangtick Phom, MLA of 49 AC, Deputy Commissioner of Longleng W Manpai Phom, Superintendent of Police Longleng Yanger Jamir, Phom Gazette Officer Association president Chaidok Phom, and Phom People’s Council president Y B Angam, among others.
As part of the Jubilee Convergence Programme, Y Alongla Sangtam, NPS, Additional Superintendent of Police (Security), addressed a session on “Women in Leadership – Achieving an Equal Future,” organised by the Orangkong Baptist Attoi Women’s Ministry. A separate session on “Youth in Leadership – Embracing Unique Gifts and Talents” was addressed by B Henok Buchem, NCS, Deputy Commissioner of Kohima, and organised by the Orangkong Baptist Attoi Youth Ministry.
Prior to the main jubilee programme, a thanksgiving service was held with Changtongnya Baptist Church. The programme included the unveiling of a Mission Station monolith and a prayer at Chaujing Ling (morung), led by Rongsenmeren.
The three-day Platinum Jubilee concluded with a talent showcase involving participants from the community.
