Kohima: To commemorate the birthday of Rahul Gandhi, Member of Parliament and former Congress President, the Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee (NPCC) on Thursday organised a Special Blood Donation Camp at Congress Bhavan in Kohima.
The event brought together party members and citizens in the spirit of service, with donors contributing the life-saving gift of blood.
NPCC President and MP, Supongmeren Jamir, expressed his gratitude to all voluntary donors and extended appreciation to the medical staff from Naga Hospital Kohima for their professionalism and support during the camp.
The Congress party informed that later in the day, the celebrations continued with a visit to the Kohima Orphanage by the MP, accompanied by party aides and workers.
During the visit, they interacted with the children, donated essential supplies, and offered words of encouragement. Jamir urged the children to pursue their aspirations with determination, assuring them of continued support from the Congress party.
