Kohima: The recently concluded 10th edition of The Bengal Rowing Club (BRC) Summer Darts Open Championship 2024, held from July 17-21, under the aegis of the Indian Darts Council (IDC), saw an impressive performance from Team One Nagaland (TON).
The event, hosted at BRC, Kolkata, featured over 200 participants from across India, including 13 players from Nagaland.
Team One Nagaland showcased exceptional talent, securing notable positions in various categories.
Vikehelie Suohu and Aryaveer Chokhani emerged as the Open Doubles Champions, while Joshua and Sangam Roy were the Open Doubles Runners-Up. Joshua Semou and Jal Bhavsar clinched the title in the Draw Doubles category.
In the Indian Darts League (IDL) Team Event, Oto Angami’s Team Rockers finished as runners-up, and Kevichüzo Zumvü of ILS Dart Raiders secured a joint third place.
In individual performances, Kelhousatuo Yiese was the runner-up in the BRC Rookies Men category. Joshua Semou was recognised as the Most Promising Player, also achieving joint 5th positions in both the BRC Youth and BRC Men’s Singles categories. Vikehelie Suohu attained a joint 5th place in the Indian Darts Council National Ranking.
