Former BJP, NPF leaders join Nagaland Congress

Kohima: In a significant development for the Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee (NPCC), political figures from across the state joined the party on Friday.

The new entrants include Dr. Temsuwati, retired Additional Development Commissioner of Nagaland and former Chairperson of the State BJP Intellectual Committee; Dr. Roland Lotha, member of the Naga People’s Front (NPF) Working Committee; Yanger Jamir, Vice President of the NPF Central Youth Wing; and Moses R Ovung, leader of the BJP Youth (BJYM).

The induction ceremony was led by Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha) and NPCC President S Supongmeren Jamir, and attended by Ranajit Mukherjee, AICC Secretary Incharge for Nagaland, along with senior NPCC officials.

The Congress leaders thanked the new members and accepted them as they emphasised the party’s commitment to secularism and inclusivity.
