Kohima: The Public Health Engineering Department (PHED) Urban Division, Nagaland, has announced that a mudslide near the NST Garage at Lerie Chazou has disrupted local water mains, leading to interruptions in water supply services for the area.

According to PHED, initial temporary restoration efforts have been largely ineffective. Full restoration will require collaboration with relevant line departments.

The department informed that it is actively working to resolve the situation and restore water services as soon as possible.

PHED Urban Division has appealed to residents to bear with the inconvenience and continue their cooperation.

The department emphasised its commitment to ensuring the resumption of reliable water supply services to all valued consumers.
