The youth from Nagaland have made significant strides in participating in the 7th Northeast Youth Festival 2024. A delegation of 65 young people represented the state, winning top positions in various events.
The festival was held in Agartala, Tripura, on February 26-29, 2024. The Nagaland contingent performed well in the Guitar Instrumental competition, with Zayiechü Grosso Suohu taking first place. This impressive performance captivated the audience and judges alike, highlighting the state’s proficiency in music and instrumental performance.
In the Clay Modeling competition, Neivito Vitsu from Nagaland won first place, demonstrating the creativity and craftsmanship of the youth from the state. This achievement highlighted their potential in the visual arts and reflected the unique cultural heritage of Nagaland.
Rahul Alam from Nagaland also won third place in the Painting competition, showcasing his painting skills. This artwork reflected the unique cultural heritage and artistic expressions of Nagaland, garnering appreciation from the judges and fellow participants. The Rock Band competition, where the team of Vareishim LungLeng Shongzan, Imliakum Jamir, Thüjongoyi Vero, Imsülong Longkumer, Chumlanthung Ngullie, Nanmila Zimik, and Limayala Aier performed the third place, highlighting the vibrant music scene and talent pool in Nagaland.
