Guwahati: In a recent directive, the Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) has called upon all Heads of Institutions to geo-tag their school’s location on Google Maps, emphasising the importance of location-specific information.
The NBSE highlighted that the geo-tagging process is crucial for acquiring precise location-related data.
To facilitate this, the board has provided provisions for updating the geo-location of schools within the school’s dashboard on the NBSE portal.

Heads of institutions were requested to log in to the school’s page on the NBSE portal and utilise the school dashboard to update their respective school’s location.
The NBSE has further urged all Heads of Institutions, both from government and private sectors, to ensure compliance with this directive and take the necessary action on or before the 29th of this month.
