Aizawl: The Assam Rifles and the Special Narcotics Police Station, CID (Crime), collaborated to apprehend two individuals with a substantial quantity of heroin in Mizoram.
The operation, conducted on March 12, 2024, in the Zemabawk North locality of Aizawl, resulted in the seizure of 236 grams of heroin.

The apprehended individuals have been identified as Ngaihnu (35) and B Suanminthang (54), both residents of Churachandpur in Manipur.
Following their arrest, they have been placed in the custody of the Special Narcotics Police Station, CID (Crime). Authorities have stated that further action will be taken as deemed necessary in accordance with the law.
