Imphal: Brigadier Rajeev Kumar, Deputy Director General, Recruiting (NE States) along with Director Recruiting, ARO Rangapahar visited the nominated online CEE centre at Imphal and Churachandpur in Manipur, said an Army official.
During the visit, the DDG inspected the arrangements at each centre and interacted with the conducting staff, OTs and candidates regarding the challenges faced concerning availability of transportation, travelling distance from the respective home towns, access to the centre, allotment of centres/batches, etc., along with the recommendations to address the same.
At Churachandpur, DIG, 27 Sector Assam Rifles briefed the DDG regarding the current situation in the region, initiatives taken by the Assam Rifles in training the youth for recruitment into the Indian Army and the problems faced by the youth in the area.
