Guwahati: Flying Officer Indhish Huidrom, a Manipur native and alumnus of Sainik School, Imphal, achieved his childhood dream of becoming a pilot after being commissioned into the Indian Air Force.
The commissioning ceremony took place at a grand Passing Out Parade held at the Indian Airforce Academy in Begumpet on Saturday, December 14, 2024.
Following his education at Sainik School, Huidrom joined the National Defence Academy (NDA) in Khadagwasla, Pune. Flying Officer Indhish Huidrom proved his mettle by excelling in flying training at the Air Force Academy. His hard work and determination earned him the prestigious “Chief of the Air Staff Trophy” for standing first in the Transport stream of the 214 Pilot Course. Huidrom’s passion for music and football were integral parts of his life, demonstrating his well-rounded personality.
Huidrom’s proud parents and family attended the passing out parade.
