Guwahati: IIT Guwahati has invited applications for the post of computer trainees at the Computer and Communication Centre of the institute located near Guwahati, Assam. These are purely temporary posts and are meant for imparting job training to the selected candidates. The training period will comprise of one year. On the completion of training period, a certificate will be awarded. Those who have underwent such training will not be considered.

Pay scale: Rs 15,000 per month
Age: Candidates should be preferably between 18 and 25 years of age (as on last date of application)
Educational qualification & experience:
Three-year polytechnic diploma in computer science/ computer science and engineering or EEE/ ECE/ electronics or IT from a recognised university/ institution.
Selected candidates will require doing shift duty and staggered duty from 9 am to 12 night.
