Assam down town University (AdtU) has announced that five of its academicians have been ranked among the world’s top 5% scientists in the 2025 SciRank Global Registry.
According to the university, the rankings are based on bibliometric analysis and global research impact assessments conducted by SciRank.
The five academicians recognised in the registry are Prof. Narayan Chandra Talukdar, Vice Chancellor of AdtU; Prof. Saikat Sen, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Science; Prof. Partha Pratim Dutta, Associate Professor in the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Science; Suresh Deka, Professor and Advisor in the Faculty of Science; and Robin Gogoi, Professor and Officer on Special Duty (OSD) in the Faculty of Science.
The university stated that the recognition reflects the contributions made by the scholars in scientific research and scholarly publications.
AdtU said the achievement highlights its growing presence in global research and its focus on teaching, innovation and knowledge creation.
The university also congratulated the five academicians on their recognition and reiterated its commitment to fostering a research ecosystem aimed at supporting scientific advancement and societal development.
