Guwahati is preparing to host Post Malone’s first solo headline concert in India, scheduled for 8 December 2025 at the Khanapara Veterinary Ground. The event, produced and promoted by BookMyShow Live in collaboration with the Government of Assam, is being viewed as a notable moment for the region’s growing live entertainment sector.
The concert is part of the artist’s Big Ass World Tour and is expected to draw audiences from across the Northeast. According to organisers, the night will feature a blend of live performances, large-format production and curated audience services. Five key elements have been outlined as part of the event’s experience.
Kayan will open the show with what organisers describe as a mellow and immersive set, marked by warm vocals and a genre-blended style. Audiences can expect to hear some of her popular tracks, including ‘Cool kids’, ‘Good kinda love’ and ‘Hold me down’, which reflect her mix of R&B, indie elements and emotional expression.
Post Malone’s set is expected to feature global hits such as ‘Rockstar’, ‘Congratulations’, ‘Circles’ and ‘Sunflower’, songs that regularly anchor his international performances. These tracks have been central to the atmosphere of his shows worldwide, and Guwahati is set to experience a similar response.

The concert will include production elements from the ongoing world tour, with intelligent lighting, full LED systems, special effects support and large-scale pyrotechnics planned for the venue. Organisers say the stage will include an extended thrust runway and will be positioned close to the General Admission area to facilitate interactions between the artist and the audience.
A dedicated Welfare Station will be available at the venue, staffed with trained professionals for attendees who may require support. Additional services such as a Helpdesk, Tag Your Child counters, water points near the barricades, and a Lost and Found desk will be provided. Exclusive merchandise will also be available for purchase on-site.
Post Malone’s performance is expected to reflect the genre-blending approach he is known for, moving between guitar-led ballads, rock-influenced sections and hip-hop-driven segments. Organisers state that the event aims to deliver an experience aligned with his global shows.
