Guwahati Residents' Bus Usage Survey launched

Guwahati: Purvca Foundation, a non-profit organization, has launched an online survey to gather feedback on bus usage patterns and preferences among Guwahati residents.

The survey aims to help the foundation develop recommendations for improving the city’s public transportation system, focusing on safety, accessibility, affordability, and overall service quality.

The survey is open to all residents and takes approximately 10-15 minutes to complete. Purvca Foundation emphasizes that all responses will be kept confidential and used solely for research purposes. The foundation particularly encourages participation from women, non-binary individuals, people with disabilities, and senior citizens to understand the challenges faced by these groups.

“Your insights will be instrumental in identifying key issues and proposing practical solutions to make Guwahati’s public transportation system safer and more inclusive for everyone,” said Arshel Akhter, Co-Founder of Purvca Foundation.

Purvca Foundation will use the survey data to develop actionable recommendations to address commuter concerns and improve Guwahati’s bus service.

Purvca Foundation works to create climate-resilient and sustainable urban habitats in Northeast India. The foundation focuses on improving active mobility, public transportation, and community well-being through research, advocacy, and action-driven initiatives.
