The Cerebral Palsy Sports State Level Athletics Trial Meet is an important initiative, as it encourages children and youth with cerebral palsy to pursue their athletic abilities, fostering independence, confidence, and inclusion. This event sends a powerful message about the full participation of students with disabilities in sports, breaking down barriers and promoting equality in athletic activities.
Through such events, Shishu Sarothi continues to further its mission of creating an inclusive society where persons with disabilities can access opportunities to develop their potential. The athletes selected from this trial will go on to represent Assam in the National CP Athletic Championship, which will be held in Gujarat this October.
