The Assam Pradesh Congress has been asked by the state police to appear before the CID police station in Ulubari on March 12 for the third time in connection with alleged rule violations during the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra organised by the party in Guwahati on January 23.
According to sources, Bhupen Borah, the president of the Assam State Congress, has been asked to appear before the CID police station at 11:30 a.m.
The interrogation will be held in connection with the alleged damage to public property during the Congress’ Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra in Assam.
