Guwahati: Jyotishman Saikia from Assam has topped the JEE (Main) Session 1 exam 2024 from Assam with an NTA score of 99.92, the National Testing Agency (NTA) said on Monday.
According to NTA, 53 candidates across the country have topped the exam, out of which 23 candidates scored full scores. The JEE (Main) Session 1 exam was conducted at 544 centres across 291 cities in 13 languages.
Tripura’s Antareep Ray stood second among the aspirants from the seven NE states with an NTA score of 99.82 percentile. It is followed by Vinnakota Sneha Naga Sanjana of Arunachal Pradesh with 99.42 scores, Rohan Singh Leishangthem of Manipur with 98.53 scores, Abhijnan Saraswat Gogoi of Meghalaya with 98.09 scores, John Laldingliana of Mizoram with 93.62 scores, MD Siddek Ahmed Choudhury of Nagaland with 98.87 scores, and Priansh Yajnik of Sikkim with 99.94 scores.
