Guwahati: In a bid to accommodate the extra rush of passengers, services of special trains under the North East Frontier Railway (NFR) have been extended up to March, maintaining the existing schedule, stoppages, and composition.
The decision covers Special Train No. 07047/07046 (Dibrugarh – Secunderabad–Dibrugarh) and Train No. 07029/07030 (Agartala–Secunderabad–Agartala).
The extended service period for Train No. 07047 (Dibrugarh – Secunderabad) special train is from February 8th to March 28th, 2024, operating every Thursday from Dibrugarh.
In the return direction, Train No. 07046 (Secunderabad – Dibrugarh) special train will run from February 5th to March 25th, 2024, every Monday from Secunderabad. Similarly, Train No. 07029 (Agartala – Secunderabad) special train will continue from February 9th to March 29th, 2024, running every Friday from Agartala.
Train No. 07030 (Secunderabad – Agartala) special train will operate from February 5th to March 25th, 2024, every Monday from Secunderabad.
Additionally, some train services have been diverted due to Post-Non Interlocking congestion for infrastructural development at Changsari and Agthori stations of Rangiya and Lumding divisions of N.F.Railway.
Train No. 20504 (New Delhi – Dibrugarh) Rajdhani Express, journeying on February 3rd, 5th, 6th, and 7th, 2024, and Train No. 12424 (New Delhi – Dibrugarh) Rajdhani Express, journeying from February 3rd to 7th, 2024, will be diverted via New Bongaigaon – Goalpara Town – Kamakhya section.

Passengers are advised to verify the details of stoppages and timings on the IRCTC website and through NTES before commencing their journey.
