Assam government to engage guest faculty in schools

Guwahati: Assam government has decided to engage guest faculty in schools.

The decision was taken by the state cabinet headed by the Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.

As per the decision, guest faculty will be engaged in elementary and secondary government, provincial and other government institutional run schools. Service period of guest faculty will be for an academic year.

Guest faculty can be engaged by alumni associations, NGOs, etc.
