Guwahati: Assamese singer, music composer, and filmmaker Zubeen Garg reportedly fell ill late on Thursday night due to high blood pressure issues, after which he was rushed to Guwahati’s Ayursundra Superspecialty hospital in Ahomgaon.

Garg had been facing health issues since Thursday afternoon and was admitted to the hospital around 10:45 pm after his condition deteriorated, local media reported.

He is recovering and there is no reason to worry, assured doctors at Ayursundra hospital. A team of specialists is monitoring Garg’s health and the singer has undergone ECG and a couple of other tests to ascertain any other medical issues that he may be facing.

The singer will be given a release from the hospital if all is well in his test reports that will come out today.
