Gangtok: 12 female students were allegedly molested by a language instructor in Soreng, Sikkim. As per sources, the female students are between the age of 8-14 years.
The language instructor, identified as DB Tamang, was recruited by the school three months ago.
He was recently regularised in the massive regularisation drive for teachers earlier this year.

The school received a complaint on May 8 concerning the molestation. Upon receiving the complaint, the school authorities approached Soreng Police Station. An FIR was registered on May 10.
The accused has been booked under the POCSO act and has been arrested by Soreng Police Station, Sikkim Police informed.
