Jyotiraditya M. Scindia, the Union Minister for Communications and Development of the North Eastern Region (DoNER), is scheduled to begin a three-day tour of the North Eastern states on November 13, focusing on developmental initiatives and cultural events. During his visit, Scindia will hold review meetings with the Chief Ministers of Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Mizoram, and Tripura, to discuss ongoing projects and assess development efforts across the region.

The review meetings aim to strengthen collaboration between the Ministry of DoNER and the state governments to ensure timely implementation of various projects and to address any challenges in infrastructure, communication, and socio-economic development across the North Eastern states.

In addition to these official engagements, Scindia will participate in the Janjatiya Gaurav Diwas celebrations on 15th November in Agartala, Tripura. This annual event commemorates the rich heritage and achievements of India’s tribal communities, underscoring their cultural and historical contributions.

Later on the same day, Scindia will attend the Cherry Blossom Festival 2024 in Ri-Bhoi district, Meghalaya.
