Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Medorganics India Pvt Ltd. to enhance collaborative research, training, and development in the fields of herbal and nutraceutical products.
The partnership aims to foster research and innovation by creating a platform for academic and industry collaborations to expedite the development of safe, effective, and cost-effective products. This collaboration will also facilitate the expansion of Medorganics India’s market reach to other states and countries.
Under the agreement, Medorganics India will be recognized as a doctoral study center for MAHE’s Ph.D. program, enabling doctoral candidates to conduct their research in compliance with both institutions’ terms and regulations. It will also provide training opportunities for MAHE students to enhance their skills in areas such as formulation development, pharmacology of Ayurveda, phytopharmaceutical formulations, health supplements, dietary supplements, and nutraceuticals.
The collaboration will strengthen the academic-industry collaborations in the herbal and nutraceutical sectors. It will also pave the way for the development of innovative products that have the potential to improve the health and well-being of society.
