Nagaland BJP president Temjen Imna Along

Kohima: During the 42nd foundation day celebration of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Wednesday, state president Temjen Imna Along said the party is a cadre-based organization and that all directives of the central leadership is respected and followed. 

Addressing a gathering at the party’s head office, Along exuded confidence that the BJP is a public centric, pro-farmer, and pro-village centric national party that has evolved with time.

He assured that the party will become a stronger and a visionary political party, with its ideology deeply rooted and guided by leaders, in an inclusive way. 

An update from the party’s media cell informed that Along also lauded BJP’s national president JP Nadda for taking the party forward, especially during the pandemic, taking initiatives to create the most effective political workforce in the history of the nation, committed in serving the public. 

The state BJP chief also appealed to the party workers to share the good narrative of the BJP with the people, saying that the goals and ideologies of the BJP should reach every nook and corner. 

During the ceremony, the gathering also witnessed the live streaming address of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
