Olympian Mary Kom and Mahatma Gandhi’s granddaughter Tara Gandhi launched the book – ROBIN HIBU: The Biography, on Sunday. The book is a biography of Robin Hibu, the first IPS officer from Arunachal Pradesh.
Calling it a memorable day in his life, Hibu said that the author has encapsulated his struggles and tiny endeavours for the less-privileged NE people in cities after two years of painstaking research.
The book, published by The Walnut Publication, Chennai, was penned down by notable writer Thanmi Khamrang after 2 years of intensive research. The book will also be translated into Hindi by the Rashtriya Satya Desh Publication.
The biography can be purchased online from e-commerce platforms Amazon and Flipkart, and readers can also buy the book directly from Walnut Publication.
Writer Thanmi Khamrang has promised to donate proceeds of Rs 10 per book Helping Hands– AAKHRI AHUTI FUND (Burials & Cremations) run by Hibu himself.
The book contains the struggles of Robin Hibu and his many initiatives that have helped people from the northeast in metropolitan cities like New Delhi.
