Running enthusiast couple Milind Soman and Ankita Konwar are currently trekking their way up to Sandakphu in Darjeeling district, which is the highest peak in West Bengal at an elevation of 11,929 feet.
Model and actor Milind Soman has been documenting stills from their trip on his social media handles and garnering cheer from the netizens for his dedication and fitness. Recently, Milind shared a selfie with wife Ankita with only a bit of their journey left ahead of them.

Wearing traditional clothes donned by the locals, the couple seem to be in jubilant mood as the wintry hill landscape makes for a scenic background. Milind also informed his followers that they were presently at 10,000 feet elevation at a Himalayan village called Kala Pokhri.
His caption read: “Selfie time on the route to Sandakphu !! 10,000 feet.”

Ankita also shared a couple of pictures of them in traditional attire. She also greeted her followers using a Tibetan greeting expression: ‘Tashi Delek.’

During this trek to the top of Sandakphu, Milind and Ankita had camped at Kala Pokhri. Milind had shared a solo picture from the place a day before. Standing against the backdrop of a blue sky, the actor had extensively praised his surroundings.
He wrote, “Blue like no other!! The most beautiful skies, the most beautiful mountains, the most beautiful people on the route to Sandakphu and Phalut, so happy to be back in the mountains again, love, love, love !!! Todays stop Kala Pokhri 10,000 ft.”
