Kohima: COVID-19 cases in Nagaland spiked to 3,031 as 20 more have tested positive for COVID-19 in Nagaland. The new cases were reported out of 192 samples that were tested.
Minister of health and family welfare S Pangnyu Phom informed that out of the 20 new cases, 10 are from Kohima, nine are from Dimapur and one is from Tuensang.
With the addition of the new cases, Dimapur currently has 1,263 active cases, Kohima has 531, and Tuensang has two active cases.
Taking to twitter, Phom wrote: “COVID-19 Report!
Out of 192 samples tested, 20 new +ve cases have been detected.
10 in Kohima, 9 in Dimapur & 1 in Tuensang. Contact tracing is fully put in force & all primary contacts are kept under self isolation to avoid further transmission.”
