The UEFA Europa League was back this week and the action was officially underway on August 5.
The second leg of six of the eight-round of 16 matches is being played to determine the quarterfinalists. Manchester United, Inter Milan, Copenhagen, and Shakhtar Donetsk have already made their way into the final eight as they wait for the remaining four teams to join them, before the action shifts to Germany for the quarters.

Manchester United advanced their way into the quarters with a 2-1 win over LASK at Old Trafford while Inter Milan defeated Getafe by 2-0 to achieve the same.
As for the other two-quarter finalists, Shakhar Donetsk stormed their way into the quarters with a 3-0 win over Wolfsburg, and Copenhagen secured their spot in the quarters with a 3-0 win over Istanbul, creating a club history as they earned a quarterfinal spot for the first time ever in the Europa League.

The quarterfinals will be played as single-elimination matches taking things forward for the final on Aug 21. The venue for the quarterfinals is spread across for stadiums throughout Germany namely Stadion Köln, MSV Arena, Dusseldorf Arena, and Arena Auf Schalke.
