Guwahati: A video of a COVID-19 positive patient, who is also a senior citizen, paying tribute to the frontline warriors in the state has gone viral.
In the video, Dr Satyendra Kumar Chaudhary, a 70-year-old COVID-19 patient, is seen in a video plying violin at the Kalapahar COVID Hospital to pay tributes to the COVID warriors in the state.
In that video, Chaudhary was seen plying music legend Dr Bhupen Hazarika’s evergreen song, “Manuhe Manuhor Babe” in his violin.

In a tweet message, Assam COVID Care Centres wrote, “Kalapahar Covid Hospital: Dr. Satyendra Kumar Chaudhary, a 70 years old patient paying a musical tribute to all the brave-hearted #CovidWarriors with the evergreen song “Manuhe Manuhor babe” composed and sung by musical legend Dr. Bhupen Hazarika.”
Meanwhile, Assam health minister Himanta Biswa Sarma in his Twitter message has said that altogether 1,214 COVID-19 patients were discharged from different hospitals of the state till 10.30 pm on Wednesday.
