Aizawl: The Mizoram Pradesh Youth Congress Committee (MPYCC) has slammed the Zoram People’s Movement (ZPM) for falsely issuing a press statement over the Citizenship (Amendment) Bill.
The MPYCC alleged that the ZPM in its press release on December 3 announced the non-attendance of the Congress and MNF in a meeting called by Union home minister Amit Shah to discuss the contentious legislation in New Delhi.

They stated that the Mizoram Pradesh Congress Committee secretary Anggu Lalhmachhuana was there to attend the meeting.
The Mizoram Pradesh Congress Committee has also organised a protest rally on CAB and submitted a resolution to the governor of Mizoram on November 29.
