Earthquake of 4.3 magnitude jolts Assam, Meghalaya

Guwahati: A mild earthquake of 4.3 magnitude on the Richter scale jolted Assam and other Northeastern states around 7.41 pm on Thursday.

The epicenter of the quake is said to be 57 km west of Guwahati in Assam.

As per sources, the tremor that hit region lasted for nearly 10 seconds. There have been no reports of any casualty and damage of property till the filing of this report.
