Itanagar: Chief minister Pema Khandu assured his government’s cooperation to Chakat Aboh, wife of slain Khonsa West MLA Tirong Aboh.
Khandu said that if he has the support of all the political parties, as a mark of respect to Late Aboh, he (Khandu) would be happy to have Chakat Aboh as the representative of Khonsa West Assembly constituency.
The CM also promised to support her throughout so that she can fulfill the aspirations of the people of Khonsa West.
Khandu said this in a social media post on Tuesday. The chief minister along with the members of Arunachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly paid homage to the slain MLA.

The case is still under investigation and has been taken over by National Investigation Agency.
National People’s Party (NPP) candidate and its sitting MLA from Khonsa West Assembly seat, Tirong Aboh, was killed in an ambush by underground elements along with 10 others won the seat this election.
Aboh won the seat by a margin of 1055 votes defeating his rival from BJP. As of now the seat is empty and a bye-election is to be held.
