Major Brijesh Thapa of Ging T.E attains Veergati in Kashmir

Four personnel of the Indian Army’s 10th RR battalion, including Company Commander Major Brijesh Thapa, have attained Veergati in an ambush in Doda district (Jammu division).

Major Thapa was only 27 years old and was the son of Retired Colonel Bhuwanesh Kumar Thapa, a resident of Ging Tea Estate, Darjeeling.

The Indian Army conveyed their deepest condolences to the bravehearts Captain Brijesh Thapa, Naik D Rajesh, Sepoy Bijendra, and Sepoy Ajay, who laid down their lives in the line of duty while undertaking a counter-terrorist operation in Doda to ensure peace in the region.
