The Press Information Bureau (PIB) has launched a microsite (link) to serve as a one-stop shop for media professionals covering the 2024 general election.
The portal features a digital flipbook with interesting analytics and data-rich information journalists can utilise for their articles. It also provides useful links to relevant parts of the Election Commission of India (ECI) website and infographics for easy reference.
Additionally, the portal offers schedules for different phases of the 2024 general election, updates on ECI notifications on a real-time basis, and information about national and state-level ECI officers for easy access.

The PIB has also made an ECI compendium of instructions, including a media guide, readily available on the portal.
The launch aligns with the PIB’s efforts to facilitate the reporting of the 2024 general polls and make it easier for the media to access official election information. It will be regularly updated with the latest news and information related to the election.
