Two students at Parul University in Gujarat are facing criminal charges after they were seen fighting on campus grounds between African and Indian students, reports said.
The Parul University hostel in Vadodara, Gujarat, was the site of the alleged confrontation between the two groups of students. According to reports, the altercation began after ‘alleged racist comments’ were made by Indian students towards their African counterparts.
The students were seen in the video punching and kicking each other, and several students were seen running away from the area, trying to escape the chaos.
Clips of the brawl have gone viral, attracting much attention. Many people have demanded an investigation into the incident and action against those involved.
The Parul University has not issued any official statement regarding the incident.
