Have you ever seen Mamata Banerjee dancing?

A recent clip of Mamata Banerjee, Chief Minister of West Bengal breaking into an impromptu dance is now fluttering across social media.

The Trinamool Congress (TMC) supremo was seen dancing on the stage along with tribal musician Basanti Hembram, a recipient of the state government’s ‘Sangeet Samman’, at an event on Wednesday. The CM honoured several folk artists, including musicians, singers, and dancers, at the ‘Sangeet Mela 2020’ event.

As the CM felicitated the celebrated Santhal dancer, Hembram was seen urging didi to show some moves. Someone then called for music and Banerjee put on her dancing shoes, to be seen not just tapping her feet but following the dance moves.

However, the elections are never away from her mind as her comments later at the event targeted BJP. She took a dig at the party while addressing the audience without mentioning the party’s name.
