Chümoukedima: The fifth edition of the Women Entrepreneurs Network Nagaland (WENN) Bazaar recorded sales of ₹1.14 crore over three days, bringing together 167 women-led enterprises from all districts of Nagaland.
Held at Agri Expo, Chümoukedima, from October 15 to 17, the event generated consolidated sales of ₹1,14,35,829 and attracted more than 13,000 visitors. It also generated over 1,500 employment opportunities, according to the organisers.
Held under the theme “One Nagaland, One Marketplace: Women Entrepreneurs from Every District”, the Bazaar aimed to expand market access for women entrepreneurs across the state.
Alongside retail sales, the event focused on business-to-business (B2B) trade, connecting entrepreneurs with buyers and potential trade partners to facilitate bulk orders, distribution partnerships and repeat business.
The three-day event also featured 10 specialised workshops on business development, innovation, leadership, marketing and enterprise sustainability. Mentorship and networking sessions were organised to help participants strengthen their businesses.
The Bazaar was supported by various government departments, financial institutions and corporate partners, including the Nagaland departments of Industries and Commerce and Women Resource Development, the Nagaland State Rural Livelihoods Mission, the North Eastern Development Finance Corporation and the Ministry of Textiles.

WENN said it would continue to strengthen market linkages established during the event and support women entrepreneurs in expanding their businesses and reaching wider markets.
