Kohima: The Nagaland State Disaster Management Authority (NSDMA) has issued dedicated helpdesk numbers to coordinate relief efforts for families affected by the ongoing extreme weather events across the state.
In an office memorandum, Secretary to the Government of Nagaland, Sentiwapang Aier, said the state has witnessed devastating landslides, severe flash floods and widespread disruption of road and transport connectivity due to incessant rainfall. The disasters have left many families homeless and in need of shelter and relief assistance.
To facilitate coordinated relief support from government departments and private agencies, the NSDMA has designated the following helpdesks:
