‘Agentic AI Saksham’ workshop held at Kohima Science College

Kohima: A three-day Workshop-cum-Hackathon on “Agentic AI Saksham” was held at the Kohima Science College successfully from May 7 to 9, 2026, in collaboration with Capabl.in. The programme witnessed active participation from students, faculty members, scholars and resource persons.

The workshop aimed to introduce participants to emerging trends in Artificial Intelligence and provide hands-on training on practical AI tools and applications. Sessions conducted by experts from Capabl focused on no-code website development and the creation of AI agents using platforms such as Google AI Studio and n8n.

On the second day, special guest Armstrong Pame, Joint Secretary (ICC & RUSA), Ministry of Education, visited the college and attended a felicitation programme organised in his honour. He interacted with students and encouraged them to learn how to create and responsibly use AI technologies.

During the programme, participants showcased several AI-based projects, including “Mindsync AI,” “From Story to Animation,” and “Wellness at Home.”

The final day featured a hackathon where students developed AI agents using concepts learnt during the workshop. Out of 26 participating teams, eight teams were shortlisted for the final round.

The first prize was awarded to “The Corollary,” an AI-powered study engine application developed by MSc Mathematics students Rongsenchiten T Jamir, Renjung Jamir, Nitish Deb Nath and Asarhii Chachei. The second prize went to Sentsu Yanthan of Don Bosco Higher Secondary School for developing “Hill Alert,” while the third prize was awarded to MSc Anthropology students Sentikaba and Amos Lalrolien Zote for designing “Anidex,” an AI-integrated wildlife encyclopaedia.

The hackathon carried a total prize pool of ₹51,000. The programme concluded with appreciation for all participants, organisers, mentors and resource persons for making the event a successful platform for innovation and technological learning.
