Kohima: The Public Health Engineering Department (PHED) Urban Division, Kohima has informed residents that water supply within the municipal jurisdiction has been disrupted due to a mainline breakage at the Jotsoma Reserve Forest area.
According to a statement issued by Er. Ahito Awomi, SDO-I, PHED, the disruption is expected to continue over the next few days, affecting water supply across Kohima town.
The department said repair works are currently underway to restore normal supply at the earliest.

The PHED further assured that all necessary measures are being taken to complete the repair work promptly and resume water supply as soon as possible.
