Kohima: Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha) S Supongmeren Jamir on Friday inspected the ongoing construction works at Dimapur Railway Station.
During the visit, the MP reviewed the progress of the development activities being carried out at the station and assessed the implementation of the project. Officials present at the site briefed him on the current status of the construction and the measures being taken to ensure timely completion.
Jamir emphasised the importance of improving infrastructure and passenger facilities at the railway station, noting that such developments are crucial for the convenience of commuters and the overall growth of the district.

He also urged the concerned authorities to maintain quality standards while executing the project and ensure that the works are completed within the stipulated timeframe.
The inspection was conducted as part of ongoing efforts to monitor the progress of key infrastructure projects in the district. Officials from the concerned departments and railway authorities accompanied the MP during the visit.
