Kohima: The All Nagaland College Students’ Union (ANCSU) has informed that the disbursement of the third installment of the Post Matric Scholarship for Scheduled Tribe (PMS-ST) students for the academic year 2023-2024 will commence on April 2, 2025.
According to ANCSU, the information was relayed by the Directorate of Higher Education, Government of Nagaland. Students eligible for the scholarship have been advised to ensure that their bank accounts remain active for a smooth transaction process.
ANCSU extended its appreciation to the state government, Minister of Higher Education and Tourism, and the concerned department for recognizing the students’ need for financial assistance.
The union also acknowledged their efforts in advocating the matter with the Central Ministry of Tribal Affairs and prioritizing the completion of the withdrawal authority.
While expressing gratitude, ANCSU urged the concerned department to expedite the release of the first installment of the PMS-ST for the 2024-2025 academic session without unnecessary delay.
