Kohima: The body of a 64-year-old man from Chiphur village in the Thonoknyu area of Noklak district in Nagaland was recovered on Monday, after being missing for over a month.
The man, who had gone fishing on August 19, at the Chokla river, was believed to have drowned.
According to reports, when the deceased failed to return home after his fishing trip, the villagers formed a search team.

Although his belongings were found on the riverbank, there was no trace of the man himself.
On September 30, villagers were informed by two individuals who had spotted a body floating in the river. The search team immediately rushed to the site and recovered the body, which was confirmed to be that of the missing man.
