The Ministry of Minority Affairs (MoMA) has approved Rs 172.108 crore for developing a multidisciplinary sports complex and women entrepreneurship facilitation centres in Nagaland.

A sports complex with 19.8 lakh people, including 91 per cent of them belonging to minorities, will aid in developing sports infrastructure and stimulate economic growth. The women’s entrepreneurship centre will support 3.25 lakh women, mostly of minority, and enable them to do business independently.

The approved sports complex and women’s entrepreneurship centres will be community assets and a bridging step towards national development, according to a statement from the Ministry of Minority Affairs.

The sports complex and women’s entrepreneurship centres have been sanctioned as community assets by the Ministry of Minority Affairs to assist in national development. This announcement signifies the Ministry of Minority Affairs’ dedication to Bharat’s 2047 vision.
