Kohima: Sainik School, Punglwa, in Nagaland, on Friday hosted a special event to felicitate two of its distinguished cadets who have been commissioned as officers in the Armed Forces.
Flight Lieutenant Obed Newmai has been commissioned into the Indian Air Force, while Lieutenant Hinoto Kakishe Yepthomi has been commissioned into the Indian Army.

According to the PRO Defence Kohima, the two officers stand as the first two illustrious Naga alumni and valiant officers to achieve this honour.
In an inspiring address, Flight Lieutenant Newmai and Lieutenant Yepthomi shared their experiences and urged the young cadets to embrace the noble call of duty and consider a rewarding career in the Armed Forces.
