Kohima: 19-year old Lovi Awomi, the second runner up position holder of Miss Nagaland 2021, has been shortlisted to represent the state at Femina Miss India 2022 contest.
The Beauty and Aesthetics Society of Nagaland (BASN) on Monday announced that Awomi was shortlisted out of seven contestants who auditioned for the contest.
The 19-year old had earlier won the Miss Dimapur 2021 contest before she was adjudged as the second runner up of Miss Nagaland that year.
A resident of Dimapur, Awomi’s parents are Mughali Awomi and Inato Awomi. She is a student of Corner Stone Higher Secondary School, Dimapur and she has recently appeared her class XII board exam.
The audition for the contest was held on April 20 where Awomi along with six others auditioned to represent the state for the coveted Femina Miss India contest.
The Femina Miss India 2022 will be the 58th edition of the Femina Miss India beauty pageant.
