Kohima: A medical student from Nagaland who was studying in Ukraine reached New Delhi on Wednesday by a special flight.
Senior PRO Kuolie Mere informed that the medical student arrived around 10 AM in the morning. The student was received by the senior PRO and Assistant protocol officer Kiezo Zuyie at the Indira Gandhi International Airport.
Deputy Resident Commissioner of Nagaland House Delhi, Wennyei Konyak received the student at state house.
Chief minister of Nagaland Neiphiu Rio took to Twitter to inform about the same. The student is identified as Olika Mlato.
“I express my gratitude to the Govt. of India & request the govt. to ensure the safe return of all Indian citizens. Praying for a swift end to the conflict & for peace to prevail, ” the CM tweeted.
Mere informed that the medical student will return to Dimapur on Thursday.
