Kohima: Nagaland logged 260 fresh COVID-19 cases on Wednesday, taking the state tally to 20,795. With 12 more deaths, the state’s COVID-19 death toll stands at 315.
The new cases were from Dimapur (117), Kohima (98), Mokokchung (15), Phek (12), Zunheboto (8), Wokha (5), Kiphire (4), and Peren (1) districts.
Nagaland health minister S Pangnyu Phom informed that 131 COVID-19 patients also recovered.
Among the recovered cases, 46 were from Dimapur, 29 from Kohima, 14 each from Zunheboto and Kiphire, 11 from Mokokchung, seven from Phek, five from Wokha, two each from Mon and Peren, and one from Longleng.
At present, there are 4,923 active cases, 14,929 recovered cases, 315 COVID-19 related deaths, 12 deaths not related to COVID-19, 616 migrated cases. At present, there are no deaths under investigation.
