Kohima: Nagaland recorded a total of 365 fresh cases of COVID-19 on Tuesday. With the addition of the new cases, the state tally spiked to 18,714.
The new cases were detected from Dimapur (195), Kohima (108), Zunheboto (13), Phek (12), Longleng (11), Mokokchung (10), Peren (8), Mon (4), Kiphire (2), Tuensang (1) and Wokha (1).
Twelve more deaths were reported in the state taking the COVID-19 death toll to 217, as per an update by Nagaland health minister S Pangnyu Phom on Twitter.
Meanwhile, 192 COVID-19 patients also recovered from Dimapur (99), Kohima (78), Mon (7), Peren (4), Longleng (3), and Kiphire (1). The cumulative recovered case in the state is 13,491.
The state’s current active case is at 4,407. At least 588 patients have migrated from the state.
